Installation Guide for Water Defense System for Sliding Doors

1. Exterior Guard Installation: Begin by attaching the patented Exterior Guard to the outside of each sliding door. This component is designed to deflect water, significantly reducing the amount of moisture that can reach the door's tracks. Ensure the guard is securely fastened and aligned with the edges of the door to provide effective water deflection.

2. Internal Seal Application: Next, apply the patent-pending Internal Seal on the inside surface of the sliding glass doors. Remove the protective backing from the seal and press it firmly along the entire length of the door, ensuring no gaps are left. This seal acts as an impermeable barrier, protecting the interior from water ingress.

3. Open Cell Foam Wedge Placement: Install the patent-pending Open Cell Foam Wedge into the interior gaps of the track behind the sliding glass door panels. Once positioned, use the provided interior clamps to lock the wedge securely in place. This setup will create a watertight seal, effectively minimizing water intrusion from severe weather conditions.

4. Bottom Drainage Channel Setup: Finally, install the Bottom Drainage Channel along the base of the sliding door track. This channel should be placed to ensure that any water entering the track can be quickly and efficiently drained away, preventing any pooling and potential damage. It is crucial for maintaining effective water management, especially during heavy rainfall or in high humidity environments.

Ensure all components are installed correctly and check for any leaks or gaps that may compromise the system's effectiveness. Regular maintenance checks are recommended to keep the system in optimal working condition.
