INSTALLATION GUIDE
Creates a latch point for the SA Track Clip
when no clampable exterior track is available
Before You Start
Use this accessory when:
There is no track available for the SA Track Clip to clamp onto on the exterior of the sliding glass door.
The No Track Adaptor acts as a track and gives the SA Clip a secure latch point.
Required components
Install all clips on the same runner so the SA Guard seals evenly against the door frame.
No Track Adaptor Installation
Assemble
Slide the No Track Adaptor into the SA 6-in. Adhesive Base runner channel until the part clicks into place.
Confirm before proceeding
The adaptor should sit fully engaged in the SA 6-in. Adhesive Base with no loose or partially seated sections.
Place Bases
Identify each door/panel area that requires a clip attachment method but lacks a clampable track.
Clean and dry surface
Remove debris and moisture before applying adhesive pads.
- Install four (4) No Track Adaptors per door.
- Place one near each corner and space the remaining two equally between them.
- Press down firmly on each adhesive pad for at least 60 seconds.
⚠ Important
Adhesive performance depends on clean, dry surfaces and firm pressure during application.
Align + Secure
Install four SA Clips onto the SA Guard and align each clip with a previously installed No Track Adaptor.
- Ensure all SA Clips are positioned on the same runner.
- If clips do not align, try a different runner or use an SA Extender.
- Tighten each thumb screw to lock the system in place.
Final check
All four clips are tight. The SA Guard is aligned. The seal contacts the door frame/floor with no visible gaps.

Improper installation may result in water intrusion or damage. This accessory is designed only for use with StormArmour components on sliding glass doors, and only for the duration of a severe weather event.
StormArmour does not assume liability if the product is installed incorrectly, maintained incorrectly, assembled with non-StormArmour components, or used outside recommended conditions.
After the Weather Event
- Remove the SA Guard, clips, and No Track Adaptors after use.
- Rinse exterior components with fresh water and dry before storage.
- Store in a cool, dry location with the rest of the StormArmour kit.
