Florida Condos Just Got Safer: StormArmour® Now Qualifies for My Safe Florida Condominium Grants
Big news for high-rise homeowners—House Bill 393, signed on June 24, 2025 by Governor Ron DeSantis, makes StormArmour® devices eligible for funding through the My Safe Florida Condominium Program.
For the first time, the State is putting real dollars behind solutions that stop wind-driven rain at the track level of sliding glass doors—an often-ignored weak spot that causes millions in preventable damage every year.
What HB 393 Means for You
-
Grant Funding for Track-Level Protection
Condominiums three stories or higher can now submit StormArmour® for eligibility in the My Safe Florida Condo Program. This means funding becomes available to offset the cost of installing StormArmour®. -
Easier Approval Threshold
HB393 has lowered the requirement from a unanimous vote to just 75% agreement of residents in the building making it easier to receive funding.
A Win for Resilience (and Your Wallet)
“Thousands of Florida condos suffer avoidable water damage each year. HB 393 shines a light on this hidden vulnerability and gives owners the financial support to fix it.”
— Mark Fisher, Co-Founder & CEO, Storm Armour Solutions
